WHAT IS BEEFNET?

Beefnet is a cash commodity exchange offering trading in products used by the cattle industry. The Exchange provides a centralized trading platform where best buyers meet best sellers in trade matching that is designed to improve pricing for both. Buy and sell cattle at the time of your choosing and at the best price available at any given point in time.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Membership in Beefnet is free. Click here to sign up. You will need to agree to a credit and background check before being approved as a Buyer or Seller. Once you are approved you will be able to participate in all Beefnet auctions that will be listed on the Exchange by auction dates.

WHAT ARE THE TRADING RULES?

The Trading Rules are here at this link. They may change from time to time but the current version will always be posted. The Trading Rules constitute the terms and conditions under which any product offered on the Exchange will be traded. Any trade matched on the Exchange and awarded to the highest bidder will create a contract of sale/purchase according to the terms. The terms reflect current industry standards.

WHO WILL BE THE BUYERS ON THE BEEFNET EXCHANGE?

The Buyers will be the largest feeding companies in the United States along with any other qualified buyers. The Exchange is designed to assure payment in immediate collected funds to the Seller following delivery so there never needs to be a concern about payment. The purchase money will be collected before delivery and held in a custodial account pending delivery and the final settlement sheet. Buyers will compete in a manner that assures competitive environment and best price for the seller.
